The FONIX NOAH Module has been divided into two completely separate modules: The FONIX NOAH Real-ear module and the FONIX NOAH Audiometer module. Both new modules have great improvements that make them even better than before. DSL 5.0 The FONIX Real-ear Module has been updated with the DSL 5.0 fitting formula, also known as DSL m[i/o]. DSL m[i/o] is an update to the DSL fitting formula that has been used successfully for many years, particularly in fitting hearing aids on infants and small children. The latest version includes corrections for ABR measurements as well as advancements in the core DSL fitting algorithm.
Auto COM Search Feature A new automatic search feature has been added to both modules. This feature automatically determines the computer COM port and baud rate used by the connected FONIX hearing aid analyzer or audiometer, making the installation and setup process much easier and more convenient than ever before. Improvement Test Speed Updates to the measurement routines in the FONIX Real-ear Module have increased the speed of real-ear and coupler measurements.
