New Improvements to the
FONIX NOAH MODULE

Software Version 1.30

Frye Electronics is committed to making a superior interface from the computer to the FONIX hearing aid analyzer and audiometer. We are constantly listening to the comments and requests of our customers and adapting the FONIX NOAH Module to better meet their needs. Version 1.30 brings improvements to both the Hearing Aid Analyzer and Audiometer modules. Each improvement was specifically requested by a FONIX customer. Here are the highlights.

Analyzer Module

Linear Targets added: The NAL-RP, POGO, Berger, 1/3 Gain, 1/2 Gain, and 2/3 Gain real-ear targets were added to the existing NAL-NL1 and DSL i/o non-linear real-ear targets. These targets are viewable in insertion gain, gain, and SPL.

One-click send audiogram: It is now possible to send all audiometric information (HTL, Bone, and UCL) data for both ears to the connected 7000 or FP35 hearing aid analyzer with one click.

Improved auto test: The auto test feature can now be restricted to apply to only selected curves instead of all available curves. This allows the clinician to more effectively use the auto test feature and perform only necessary measurements.

Audiometer Module

Speech audiogram tab added: This allows the clinician to plot speech testing as a function of amplitude. Four such audiograms can be plotted: unaided, left aided, right aided, and binaural aided. This type of testing can help document the improvement given by hearing aids to the patient.

Settings window added to combine settings used by the Audiometer module into one easy-to-use window.

Improved 1-page printout added: This printout includes most of the important audiometric data on one vertical page. The audiograms for both ears have been combined into one graph.
