We had created a partnership with National Acoustics Laboratories in Australia to produce a cortical measurement analyzer called the HEARLab System. This device conforms to the EU Medical Device Directive and available for marketing in the United States and other countries.
Currently, Frye Electronics decided to discontinue manufacture of medical devices in early 2017 because of the continuing escalation of regulatory costs. However, we are still building accessory items used with analyzers and audiometers.
We will be able to continue to serve our customers with needed items like control encoders for the FA10 audiometer, the electrodes used on the HEARLab, microphones, couplers, probe tubes, printer paper, battery pills and other accessories.
Many repair parts for instruments that we have produced in the past will also be available, including the popular FA10 audiometer, the HEARLab and the FP35, 8000, 6500 and 7000 hearing aid analyzers.
