ANSI S3.42-1992
ANSI-92 is different from ANSI-96.
This standard uses a composite signal (“speech-like”) instead of pure tone signals.
Four measurements (50-60-70-80 dB SPL or 60-70-80-90 dB SPL) are made in 10 dB increments to measure the change in the frequency response as a function of change in input level.
