Floppy Installation 2002/03/05 -med

The three ZIP Files found in the \RS232\FLOPPY directory contain
the Images for the three floppy disks used to install the Technical
Support information from floppies. If you have the CDrom version,
you do not need to use these files. The information is already
provided uncompressed on the CDROM.

If you have downloaded the three zip files from the Web, or
wish to create a floppy installation set from the CDROM, perform
the operation indicated below.

To install from the floppies, first unzip each file,
DISK1.ZIP, DISK2.ZIP, and DISK3.ZIP to it's own floppy disk.
Be sure to keep the directory path information intact.
If you are using PKZIP, the command would look like this:

  PKUNZIP -& DISK1 A:

If you are using WinZip, put a blank formated floppy in drive A:,
specify the destination as drive A: then click on Extract.

Do this for all three disks.

When done, put disk #1 in drive A: and run the FINSTALL program.
It will perform the installation.

If you have the CDROM, you can achieve the same effect by just
clicking on the \RS232 directory on the CD and copy it to your
hard disk, or just leave it on the CDROM if you don't want to
clutter up your hard drive.
